About the Author:  Beverly Ovalle dabbled with writing on and off for years when her best friend finally dared her to submit a story to a writing contest. Beverly decided she had nothing to lose and since she'd always wanted to be an author sent it in and agonized for months waiting to hear back. Contract in hand she has never looked back.

Beverly has been obsessed with dragons and romance since she was a young girl, collecting dragon books and reading everything she could find on them even down to the care of real life dragons. She's always been slightly panicked that the world as we know it will end, so has prepped for it, haunting survivalist pages and prepper projects she felt she needed in the event SHTF.

My Thoughts - 5 out of 5 Unicorns - I loved it!!!

***I choose what I read and review based on what intrigues me!!  Yes, I got a review copy of this book, but no one tells me what to think, feel, or write about any book!  I have bought this book and several offer dragon books by this author!

This is my first time reading Beverly’s work, and I think this is a standalone.  I hope it becomes a series maybe for that town or something because I want to read Ellen’s story!  This is for adults only due to the steamy content.

I really love Connie’s sassiness especially with everything she has witnessed and that she still wants to continue.  She has strength and courage, and she tries to fight what is happening between her and Kai.  I like Kai because he is protective, and he also jumps in to help.  There are shifters, mates, and danger.  This story made me happy to just read it.  I couldn’t put it down.  I can’t describe why one book just clicks because I think so many factors play into including your own mood and what’s happening around you when you read it. 

Beverly creates a great world that I hope I see more of in the future because I want to read Ellen’s story and more about UW and those shifters too!

I highly recommend this book to all the dragon and wolf shifter fans out there because you will definitely enjoy reading this book!
