The Angel’s Hunger
Masters of Maria #2
by Holley Trent
Goodreads blurb: Cursed by his vengeful elf ex-lover eight
hundred years ago, Tamatsu lost not only his voice but his power, and became
consumed by a ravenous hunger for food, sex, violence, and other earthly
pleasures. Now he’s ready to make a deal with his former flame and tormentor:
the return of his voice in exchange for the location of her missing elf queen.
But the Fates have a way of throwing monkey wrenches into the best-laid plans. After so many years in the human realm, Noelle isn’t sure she can remember what happened to his voice or even what made her mad enough to curse Tamatsu in the first place…
Can she find a way to make amends with the only person who’s capable of balancing her? Tamatsu must also decide if being intimate with Noelle again is worth exacerbating his insatiable appetites. It’s not a match made in heaven, but they could make a hell of a team.

Unicorns - I loved it!!!
***I choose what I read and review
based on what intrigues me!! Yes, I got a review copy of this
book, but no one tells me what to think, feel, or write about any book!
The
cover is awesome though the wings are not true to the book!
This
is the 2nd book in this series, and it is for adults only due to the
steamy content. I think you would enjoy
this series much more if you read the other series that are all part of this
world to gain more character perspective, but you can definitely read this
without having read them all!
I
was definitely pulled into this story, and I didn’t want to put it down. Unfortunately, I had to when I drove back
home from Texas. Holley does a fantastic
job with her writing style and the attitudes her characters have are
awesome!
Tamatsu
and Noelle both have histories with and without each other and a lot of it with
their long lives. There is quite a bit
of drama between them to start, but it was filled with details of the
past. There wasn’t major action, but
this book had plenty going on that I didn’t miss it. I really liked both characters flaws and all.
I
highly recommend reading this book to any paranormal fan especially if you
already love this world from Desert Guards and Sons of Gulielmus because
shifters, demons, angels, goddesses, fae, magic, and more!
