Serial Review - Discovered, Clan of the Werebear by Madison Johns

Discovered, Clan of the Werebear
by Madison Johns

Goodreads blurb:  Elaina awakens from her night with Cullen only to be herded to hide by the stream as the Clan of the Werebear inspection is at hand. It’s too late for Klesa or her sons to leave the village and Elaina worries as she hides with them. She thought her days of hiding were over.

Elaina vows to persuade the werebears to ask the werewolves for help if the clan brings war to their doors, but Cullen is resistant. It might be their only chance, and another chance for Elaina to see her childhood friend and werewolf Liam again.

As the fever still rages and Elaina gives into her primal needs, she allows herself the freedom to experience both of the brothers as they share her, but how long will it last before she’s forced to make a decision that will change all of their lives forever?

Not intended for anyone under the age of eighteen due to sexual content.

About the Author:  When Madison Johns began writing at the age of forty-four, she never imagined she'd make it onto the USA Today best-selling books list with her first cozy mystery, Armed and Outrageous, as an independent author. Sure, this book is an Amazon bestseller, but USA Today?

Although sleep-deprived from working third shift, she knew if she used what she had learned while caring for senior citizens to good use, it would result in something quite unique. The Agnes Barton Senior Sleuths mystery series has forever changed Madison's life, with each of the books making it onto the Amazon bestseller's list for cozy mystery and humor.

Madison is a member of Sisters In Crime. Madison is now able to do what she loves best and work from home as a full-time writer. She has two children, a black lab, and a hilarious Jackson Chameleon to keep her company while she churns out more Agnes Barton stories with a few others brewing in the pot.

My Thoughts - 3.5 out of 5 Unicorns - I more than liked it!!

The cover is awesome, and I really like it :)

Things you need to be aware of, this is a serial, so you must read Hidden (part 1) first.  This is not meant to be read on its own.  This is only around 70 pages or so and a quick read.  It also contains lots and lots of steamy sex scenes

There are parts of this story that I loved especially concerning Elaina standing up for herself and protecting her friends.  I find that I don’t really like Cullen and Damon.  I know their arrogance is part of it, but really it is their complete and utter disregard of a woman’s feelings.  It irks me when people do this to each other.  I keep hoping that Elaina will find her Happily Ever After by finding who her one true mate.  This world is interesting and different than most shifter books which is interesting.  I think there is a lot more to explore in this world.  Madison is great with her descriptions in the scenes, and it is easy to understand the feelings of the characters.

I think if you are into shifter books, you will enjoy this serial.  All three parts are out, so you do not have to wait if this is an issue for you.

See my review of Hidden (Part 1)!!!!
