Review - Stealing a Lion's Heart by S.M. Freed (Callahan's Pack #1)

Stealing a Lion's Heart
Callahan's Pack #1
by S.M. Freed

Goodreads blurb:  Zora was kidnapped as a child and held by a ruthless wolf pack alpha. After years of abuse, she escapes and ends up being saved by Colin, who turns out to be her mate.

Colin is looking at land to expand the pack territory when he comes across a female his lion says is his mate. Before he can find out, she passes out from running for her life.

Saving this female, his alpha finds out there are prisoners of women and children. The alpha, Clay, and his team rescue the group and find there are more mates for his men.

My Thoughts - 5 out of 5 Unicorns - I loved it!!!

***I choose what I read and review based on what intrigues me!!  Yes, I got a review copy of this book, but no one tells me what to think, feel, or write about any book! I bought this book and can’t wait for more!

This is the first book in a new series, and this author is new to me.  This is a quick read at only 45 pages long.  Be aware that this book does touch on subjects of kidnapping, torture, and abuse.

This book starts with immediate action where Zora is being chased after escaping.  Colin is a sweetheart who is very patient and understanding with Zora.  Clay is an amazing Alpha, and I loved how he took care of everyone.  This book had me in tears several times.  I was pulled into their situation, and I want to know more about them and see them get their happily ever after.  I can’t wait for more of this series!

I highly recommend to shifter fans who like to see the good guys win and an emotional rollercoaster!
