Review - Her Mountain Lion Mate by Summer Donnelly (Shifter Special Forces #3)

Her Mountain Lion Mate
Shifter Special Forces #3
by Summer Donnelly

Goodreads blurb:  *** Warning. This book deals with the survivor of assault and trauma. If those subjects bother you, please don't download. ***

Creole "Cree" James is a powerful, natural-born shifter. As a juvenile, he defended his neighbor and committed a shocking act of violence. After serving his time, they told him she was dead. After drifting for a while, Cree settled into Maxwell Mountains, North Carolina.

Tamara Brennan was on the run and looking for her long-ago savior. After seeing a newspaper article, Tamara knew she'd been lied to. But when she meets up with an adult Creole, he overwhelms her with his restrained power.

Can a shifter who shouldn't exist find love in the arms of a woman he cannot touch? Or will the power of love and the patience of a cat save them both?

About the Author:  Reader Beware! Author believes in love at first sight, fairy tales, happily ever afters, insta-love, and happy endings.

Sweet, frothy romance between strong women finding their way in life and love and the men who capture their hearts.

Lots of emphasis on strong female friendships.

My Thoughts - 5 out of 5 Unicorns - I loved it!!!

***I choose what I read and review based on what intrigues me!!  I bought this book because it intrigued me, but no one tells me what to think, feel, or write about any book!  I own the whole series so far!

The cover is stunning…those green eyes are amazing!!

This is the 3rd book in the series, and it is for adults only due to content and steamy scenes.  I would recommend reading the whole series in order because Cree plays a big role in the other stories.

This was my favorite story because Cree helped all the other with their mates, so this story made me cry more than once.  They were both lied to, but they have found out and are finding their way through those lies.  This story touched my heart in many way, but I have a thing for shifters getting their happily ever after.  Both Cree and Tamara are amazing characters that I connected with and wanted to see them find their happily ever after.

I highly recommend to any shifter fan who loves shifters, vets, and romance because love can save!
