Goodreads blurb: Is Emma ready for a bite?
Halle Pumas Book 1.
Emma Carter has been in love with Max Cannon since high school, but he barely knew she existed. Now she runs her own unique curio shop, and she’s finally come out her shell and into her own.
When Max returns to his small home town to take up his duties as the Halle Pride’s Alpha, he finds that shy little Emma has grown up. That small spark of something he’d always felt around the teenager has blossomed into something more—his mate!
Taking her out for a bite ensures that the luscious Emma will be permanently his. But Max’s ex has plans of her own. Plans that don’t include Emma being around to interfere. To keep her Alpha, Emma must prove to the Pride that she has what it takes to be Max’s mate.

About the Author: Dana Marie Bell wrote her first short story when she
was thirteen years old. She attended the High School for Creative and
Performing Arts for creative writing, where freedom of expression was the order
of the day. When her parents moved out of the city and placed her in a Catholic
high school for her senior year she tried desperately to get away, but the nuns
held fast, and she graduated with honors despite herself.
Dana has lived primarily in the Northeast (Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Delaware, to be precise), with a brief stint on the US Virgin Island of St. Croix. She lives with her soul-mate and husband Dusty, their two maniacal children, an evil ice-cream stealing cat and a bull terrier that thinks it’s a Pekinese.

Unicorns - I loved it!!!
***I choose what I read and review
based on what intrigues me!! I bought this book, but no one tells
me what to think, feel, or write about any book!
The
cover does nothing for me. I prefer the
early version with the puma that really said this is a shifter book.
This
is the 1st book in the series, and it is for adults only due to the
steamy content and violence. This book
is a quick and fabulous book around 90 pages long.
Dana
wrote a book that is an HEA (my favorite kind of book) that is fully of
humor. I was pulled into the story as it
came alive in my mind. I am really
liking her style.
Emma
is a strong and confident in who she is, but she lacks confidence in men. Her best friend and her are definitely a
pair. Emma’s sense of humor in this book
is awesome. I love all the jokes she
makes to Max. Max is mega confident and
everyone wants him. Simon and Max are
another pair of best friends, and I like them both. I really enjoyed Emma and Max’s story, and
how chill Emma was about everything because it just felt right.
I
loved every moment of this book and can’t wait to read the rest of the
series!
I
highly recommend to all shifter lovers who want a quick read that is full of
humor and a HEA!!! Can’t wait for
more!!!
