Savage Loss
Corona Pride #2
by Liza
Street
Goodreads blurb: Resisting desire is futile in the Corona
Mountains.
Elementary school principal Brigitte Mayfair has worked hard to keep herself cool, professional, and detached after the scandal she left behind in Michigan. But when she’s abducted from campus and released three days later with no memory of her captivity, she feels anything but cool and professional. Especially when a drop-dead gorgeous rescuer begins to rekindle her buried passions.
Mountain lion shapeshifter Rafe Corona hasn’t been serious about a woman…ever. He’s purposefully kept his distance from all potential mates, believing that he doesn’t deserve happiness. Something about Brigitte calls to him, though. He must overcome the danger that threatens to keep them apart and find the passion hidden within them both, or risk losing her forever.

About the Author: Liza got her start in romance by

freelance editing, ghostwriting, and mountain lion shifters with fierce and

My Thoughts - 4 out of
5 Unicorns - I really liked it!!!
***I choose what I read and review
based on what intrigues me!! No one tells me what to think, feel,
or write about any book! I own the first
3 books in this series at the moment.
The
cover is awesome like the first book. I
really like the theme and how it was designed.
Very nice!
This
is the 2nd book in the series, and it is again for adults only due
to the violence and steamy content. Well
you don’t have to read them in order, I recommend it because you will
understand references made to the past book and the characters and pride which
will provide a much richer experience.
This book was a quick read at 130 pages.
I
really like Rafe and Brigitte. Of
course, the vampires are back causing more trouble. I’m still not sure what I think of Marlana. I’m hoping as I read more of the series I’ll
get a better read on her. I’m definitely
getting more into the series, and I think it will continue to get better.
I
recommend to fans of paranormal who like mountain lion shifters, vampires, and
conflicts!
