Review @_JKHarper - Fire Wolf by J.K. Harper (Black Mesa Wolves #6) (Dallas Fire & Rescue: Kindle Worlds)

Fire Wolf
Black Mesa Wolves #6
Dallas Fire & Rescue Kindle Worlds
by J.K. Harper

Blurb:  After suffering an unspeakable childhood tragedy, firefighter Tanner Canagan uses his wolf shifter powers to rescue other helpless victims. But no matter how many people he saves, the dark history of his past prevents him from getting close to anyone. He doesn’t deserve to fall in love, especially not with a woman as gorgeous and amazing as Jordyn.

As a paramedic, Jordyn Lowe saves lives on a daily basis. As a wolf shifter, she’s dedicated to her pack. And as a woman, she’s head over paws in love with Tanner. Despite her own painful past with men, his tortured soul doesn’t scare her away. They just might be able to forge a union destined to last forever—if only she can convince him that their broken hearts can heal one another.

A Black Mesa Wolves crossover novella!

About the Author:  J.K. Harper writes about paranormal romance and urban fantasy because despite a lifetime of wishing, all the cool supernatural book characters of her childhood just don't seem to be real. Besides, it's just really fun to make stuff up and play around in her imagination.

Julie is owned by three cats, two horses, and a dog. More horses are always a good thing, so she's working on adding to the herd. She lives in the rugged, gorgeous canyon country of the Southwest, which is a great place to let her imagination run wild.

My Thoughts - 4 out of 5 Unicorns - I really liked it!!

***I choose what I read and review based on what intrigues me!!

This is the 6th book in the Black Mesa Wolves series which I am familiar with and have read several of, but I have not read any of the Dallas Fire & Rescue series which this is a Kindle Worlds novella of.  It is for adults only due to the steamy content.  It is only about 75 pages, so it is a quick read.

Tanner has a tragic back story that made me cry as it unfolded.  Jordyn has baggage too, but they only make vague references to hers.  I really liked both of them.  There were definitely times when you were thinking that they both needed to be slapped to help get their heads on straight.  The story kept me engaged and made me not want to put the story down.  Most of the pack that you know is not in this story.  A great addition to the series!  Can’t wait for more!

I recommend this book to all of the Black Mesa Wolves lovers because if you love your wolf shifters and J.K. Harper, you don’t want to miss this story!
