Nailed
Black Mountain Bears #3
by Ophelia Bell
Goodreads blurb: Passion can be the ultimate sin…
Jade Stonetree has spent her entire life in the shadows of her family. Now that they’ve found their true loves and true callings, Jade is left behind, wondering where she really belongs.
All the other young ursa who are born inside the Sanctuary take a pilgrimage into the human world when they come of age, but Jade grew up Outside. She’s seen the human world. Lived in it for her entire life. So instead she recruits a pair of young ursa males to give her a tour of her new home, under the pretense of a camping trip.
In truth, she’s taking her own personal pilgrimage to try to find herself. If only she could find a moment alone without her pair of attractive, solicitous traveling companions distracting her at every turn.
But the solitude Jade steals away to is interrupted by magical and hormonal urges she isn’t prepared for, and which only a male of her own race can remedy. Without her companions she is beyond hope, until a pair of strong arms drags her from mortal peril and coaxes her through the ordeal.
When she regains her senses, she is faced with a quandary of epic proportions: accept an infertile ursa male who’s stolen her heart with his selflessness, or give him up for the pair who can give her what every ursa female wishes for: a child?
The Black Mountain Bears trilogy includes three books to be read in order:
Book 1: Clawed
Book 2: Bitten
Book 3: Nailed
Also look for four other great trilogy collaborations by Amelie Hunt:
Winter Pass Wolves, with Vivian Wood
Emerald Isle Tigers, with Cass Reynolds
Sunset Glade Panthers, with Sennah Tate
Arctic Station Bears, with Maeve Morrick

About the Author: Ophelia Bell writes about sex. She doesn’t write
sex to arouse others, though that is a happy side effect. She writes sex for
the very specific and personal reason of experiencing those things that tie her
to the earth, that keep her grounded. It might seem counterintuitive – that sex
elevates us (at least if it’s enjoyable) because of all the analogies to flying
away we see in erotic writing, but Ophelia thinks Milan Kundera asked the right
questions:
“The heavier the burden, the closer our lives come to the earth, the more real and truthful they become. Conversely, the absolute absence of burden causes man to be lighter than air, to soar into heights, take leave of the earth and his earthly being, and become only half real, his movements as free as they are insignificant. What then shall we choose? Weight or lightness?” – The Unbearable Lightness of Being

***Received a copy of the ebook for
an honest review
The
cover fits in with the series and all the Amelie Hunt sets!
This
is the 3rd book in the series.
I recommend reading in order for all the details, and the world will
make a lot more sense if you do! Again,
this series is for adults only due to the steamy content and multiple partners
as they are a quad (3 men and 1 woman).
I
always like a lot of action, and this series doesn’t have it. It is a very enjoyable read just mostly
emotional drama and sexual tension or sex.
I’m not sure if all the things that happened in this book are physically
possible, but who knows maybe it is (I will never find out for sure…lol). This is Jade’s story.
I’m
not sure if there will be more to this series, but I will keep an eye to
see! This is definitely a unique matriarchal
world that I haven’t seen before!
I
recommend this series to all the multiple partner/bear shifter fans out there!
Interested in reading???
