Review @AmelieHunt - Happy Howlidays by Ophelia Bell, Maeve Morrick, Cass Reynolds, Sennah Tate, and Vivian Wood

Happy Howlidays:
 Five Steamy Holiday Shifter Shorts
by Ophelia Bell, Maeve Morrick, Cass Reynolds, Sennah Tate, and Vivian Wood

Goodreads blurb:  The Hunt is On for the Holidays!

Revisit all five of Amelie Hunt's steamy shifter series in these five quick, satisfying stories!

SEASON'S SURPRISES BY VIVIAN WOOD - The Winter Pass Wolves aren’t content with just any regular holiday. When they reopen the Lodge to the town of Winter Pass, inviting some familiar faces, there are a number of special surprises in store for these rugged wolves and their gorgeous mates. After all, don’t secrets make the season a little brighter?

SOLSTICE BY OPHELIA BELL - Today is the first day of the rest of Emma Stonetree’s life. The first Midwinter celebration since joining her ursa family marks the day she will finally become the leader of all the clans in the Sanctuary. But Fate, a desperate mother, four unexpected, high-profile visitors, and one even more unexpected new member of her family will turn the day into something more than Emma bargained for. Santa may not be real, but dragons most certainly are, and these dragons come bearing gifts.

SUNSET GLADE HOLIDAY BY SENNAH TATE - The holidays are coming to the panthers of Sunset Glade, and though they've never celebrated before, that's about to change. With mates to keep happy, there's plenty of decorating, a gift exchange, and the quest for the perfect fruit cake. This promises to be a magical holiday unlike any other the Glades has ever seen, with a few sweet surprises.

SINNER BY CASS REYNOLDS - Vesper could have spent his Christmas like everyone else, with artificial family and fake presents, but as a fallen angel, that wasn’t going to happen. He needed an alternative. What do fallen angels do on Christmas Eve? They get laid.

WENDIGO A-WASSAILING BY MAEVE MORRICK - It’s Christmas Eve, and Dr. Alanna MacReady's idyllic holiday gathering is about to be rudely interrupted. A wounded reindeer shifter comes to their door, with a story that causes everyone assembled to question everything they thought they knew about magic and Christmas. Santa Claus is real, and he’s in mortal danger. On the other side of a frozen lake, an evil of unquenchable hunger stands between the shifters and St. Nick. The very future of Christmas itself hangs in the balance.

About the Authors:

Ophelia Bell writes about sex. She doesn’t write sex to arouse others, though that is a happy side effect. She writes sex for the very specific and personal reason of experiencing those things that tie her to the earth, that keep her grounded. It might seem counterintuitive – that sex elevates us (at least if it’s enjoyable) because of all the analogies to flying away we see in erotic writing, but Ophelia thinks Milan Kundera asked the right questions:
“The heavier the burden, the closer our lives come to the earth, the more real and truthful they become. Conversely, the absolute absence of burden causes man to be lighter than air, to soar into heights, take leave of the earth and his earthly being, and become only half real, his movements as free as they are insignificant. What then shall we choose? Weight or lightness?” – The Unbearable Lightness of Being

Maeve Morrick draws from the fantasies of friends (extracted with wine, of course) when crafting her torrid tales. Nothing pleases her more than to know that someone enjoyed a story as much as she enjoyed writing it!

When not tickling her keyboard, she's probably trying to dislodge her cat from it so she can write, or bribing her dog to not eat her cat with varying degrees of success.

She's also fond of blues music, people-watching, aesthetics, video games, cooking, art, movies, and travel. Also, were dirty stories mentioned? She likes those, too.

Last thing, and probably the most important: she can make a cup of hot chocolate that will knock your socks off.

Cass Reynolds:  I am your consummate good-time gal. I like attractive people, strong liquor, good food, and fast cars. I spend my time on tropical beaches, writing from my trusty old laptop.

Sennah Tate is an up and coming Florida author in the world of romance. She likes writing about fiery heroines unashamed of their curves and the sizzling hot shifters that can't get enough of them.

When she's not writing and drawing dinosaurs, she enjoys the outdoors, her friendly retriever mix, and Disney World. Her exuberant personality brings cheer to dark days and she firmly believes that redheads will inherit the earth.

Vivian Wood is an erotic romance writer, and the author of the Red Lodge Bears series, the Werewolf's Harem Series, and the the Louisiana Shifters Series.

Vivian was born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia. Vivian attended a fantastic women's college, at which time she studied creative writing. She now lives in New Orleans.

Vivian has been an autodidact from a young age, and to this day she'll read anything she can get her hands on - back of the cereal box, billboards, whatever. When she's not reading or writing romantic stories, Vivian likes making drinks from her Trader Vic's cocktail recipe book, snuggling her badly behaved dog, and going on daytime adventures in and around New Orleans.

Vivian really enjoys her work, and is always excited to see what's in store next for her beloved characters.

My Thoughts - 5 out of 5 Unicorns - I loved it!!!

***Received a copy of the ebook for an honest review

The cover is perfect and fits with all the sets!  The only thing missing are their animals but that probably would have made for a crowded cover :)

I definitely recommend that you have read all the sets prior to reading the holiday short or you will not know the characters or the worlds they live in.  This is of course for adults only like all of the sets due to the content.

I immensely enjoyed all of the stories and getting a follow up on all the series.  The humor and fun contained in the pages is festive and makes for a wonderful Christmas read.  I can’t even pick a favorite because they were all wonderful.  The only wish I have is that there was more because now I need more to read!

I highly recommend this set to anyone who loves these sets because you don’t want to miss out on the updates from our favorite characters!
