Review - Breed of Innocence by Lanie Jordan (Loved it!!)

Breed of Innocence

The Breed Chronicles #1
by Lanie Jordan

Goodreads blurb:
Six hours ago, men in dark suits and sunglasses came looking for me.
Four hours ago, they offered me training to hunt the things that killed my family: demons.
Two hours ago, I joined their secret organization—the CGE.
Now… All I have to do is survive demon-hunting school.

The classes won’t kill me, but the finals might.

About the Author:
Lanie Jordan writes stories. Sometimes her characters drive her crazy, but then she gets her revenge by making their lives more difficult. Fictional payback is fun.

My Thoughts - 5 out of 5 unicorns - I loved it!!

**received the book free from the Lovers of Paranormal group for an honest review

I have wanted to read this book because my mom really liked it when she read it a month or two ago, so when the chance came up to read it I jumped :) because we generally like the same books :)  And I loved it!!  I was sucked straight into the story and Jade’s life.  Jade has a heart breaking back story and tough life, but she is a tough and strong heroine you quickly bond with as trouble keeps stalking her.  It is an exciting action packed story that I couldn’t put down.  There was NO boring first bookness that sometimes occurs with a new series.  You have high school issues with bullying, fights, demonology class, weapons, secrets, freedom, demons, new friends, did I say secrets and so much more.

I recommend to all YA paranormal lovers because it is fantastic.  I bought my own copy of the kindle boxed set, and I am going to buy it in paperback for my classroom library to share with my students….the responsible ones who I think will bring it back anyway ; )  It is a must read!!  Loved it, now I’m going to start book 2.  YAY!!!
