About the Author: Jessie Donovan wrote her first story at age five,
and after discovering the Dragonriders of Pern series by Anne McCaffrey in
junior high, realized that people actually wanted to read stories like those
floating around inside her head. From there on out, she was determined to tap
into her over-active imagination and write a book someday.
After living abroad for five years and earning degrees in Japanese, Anthropology, and Secondary Education, she buckled down and finally wrote her first full-length book. While that story will never see the light of day, it laid the world-building groundwork of what would become her debut paranormal romance, Blaze of Secrets.
Jessie loves to interact with readers. When not reading or traipsing around some foreign country on a shoestring, can often be found on Facebook and Twitter.

book, but no one tells me what to think, feel, or write about any book! I will eventually collect all of Jessie’s
books when I can.
The
cover is beautiful and matches the series!
This
is the 4th book in this series, and it is for adults only due to the
steamy content. I highly recommend
reading the series in order because it makes for a more awesome world and set
of characters.
This
is Kalahn and Ryven’s story. This is my
favorite book so far, and I was in tears with Ryven’s past. The two of them are pretty amazing, and this
was an action-packed story that I couldn’t put down. I loved their adventure, and their secret
operation was pretty cool. I have come
to love the royal family especially with all the changes on Jasvar. Kason is a pretty awesome big brother even
though Kalahn doesn’t always see it, and the reverse is true where Kason doesn’t
always see how awesome his sister is. I
really liked getting to know Jala, Kalahn’s half-sister, and I’m hoping her
story turns out the way I pray it does…but that is a future book.
Jessie
always does a fantastic job creating a riveting story that is amazing. I haven’t read a story of hers that wasn’t a
wonderful world to get lost in the characters’ stories. I can’t wait to see what she comes up with
next!
I
highly recommend to any sci-fi fan who loves royalty, aliens, romance, and of
course Jessie.
