Goodreads blurb: First generation Shifter Special Forces
warrior Nick Lowell came back from Vietnam a changed man. Unable to cope with
both his injuries and his memories, he left his wife.
Dot
Lowell has waited fifty years to find her mate. Living in limbo for so many
years has given her a wealth of understanding of pain and humiliation. Now that
she knows where her husband is, can she confront him and demand some answers?
Or will he revert back to his Leopard form and hide from her for the rest of
his life?

Sweet, frothy romance between strong women finding their way in life and love and the men who capture their hearts.
Lots of emphasis on strong female friendships.

***I choose what I read and review
based on what intrigues me!! Yes, I received a review copy of this
book, but no one tells me what to think, feel, or write about any book! I bought this book, and I own the whole
series so far!
The
cover is gorgeous both man and beast!
This
is the 7th book in the series, and it is for adults only due to the
steamy content. I highly recommend
reading the whole series because it makes each story even better when you
understand the world and characters.
This
is Luna's grandmother Dot’s story. Luna
helped find where her grandfather is, and she has relayed this information to
her grandmother who has come to find her wayward husband. I love Summer’s book! She makes you feel for her characters. I cried for both Dot and Nick in this
story. Summer weaves a story that I
couldn’t put down. I connect with her
characters and love where she takes me.
Dot and Nick’s reunion is hard, but they both try to see things from the
other’s perspective which helps them move forward to their HEA.
I
highly recommend to any shifter lover who loves veterans and HEAs! I can’t wait to see whose story is next!
