A.L.F.A. #3
by Milly
Taiden
Goodreads blurb: An undercover mission exposes hidden longings
in the irresistible paranormal romance series from the New York Timesbestselling
author of Mating Needs.
The Alpha League Federal Agency’s sworn duty is to protect humanity from the worst of the paranormal universe. Wolf-shifter Agent Bryon Day has been deep undercover for more than a year, investigating a human trafficking ring, when he goes MIA. Since A.L.FA. never leaves an agent behind, a team is sent to save him—or bring his body home.
FBI agent and ace cryptographer Kari Tomlin is selected for the rescue task force. Under the ruse of a ditsy tourist, she searches an ancient European city for Agent Day. When she learns he’s locked up in the palace’s dungeon, she plans a covert jailbreak. Together they risk the dangerous, booby-trapped tunnels below the city for freedom…and a chance to discover if this really is a mate bond growing between them.

About the Author: Milly Taiden (also writes as April Angel) was born in the
prettiest part of the Caribbean (to her) known as the Dominican Republic.
Currently, she resides in New York City with her husband, bossy young son and
their little dog Speedy.
When she’s not working full-time, texting with her best friend Heidi in England, chastising her son for pulling the dog’s ears, shopping with her sister Jewel or watching scary movies with her husband, she can be found writing on her laptop.
She’s addicted to shoes, chocolate, Dunkin Donuts coffee and JIMMY THOMAS covers!!!

My Thoughts - 5 out of
5 Unicorns - I loved it!!!
***I choose what I read and review
based on what intrigues me!! I bought a copy of this book, but no
one tells me what to think, feel, or write about any book! I own this whole series!!
The
cover looks dangerous and sexy, and I love it!
This
is the 3rd book in the series, and it is for adults only due to the
violence and steamy content. This book
does have topics of torture and human trafficking, so if you are sensitive to
these topics, plan accordingly. While it
is not mandatory to read the books in order, I think you will enjoy the world
and characters more together!
I
devoured this book and could not put it down.
I love this world that Milly has created. Agent Day has been undercover and goes
missing, so they are sending backup to find him. Along for the ride is FBI Agent Kari, she is
told you just need to cover for your partner and don’t need to do anything
else. She stumbles into trouble, and
then her adventure begins. Bryon and
Kari are mates trying to stay alive.
This fast-paced adventure had me hanging on every word to see what
happened next. I love when an author can
pull me in so much that it is impossible to put the book down.
I
highly recommend to any shifter fan who loves adventure and mating
romance! I can’t wait to see what Milly
comes up with next! She is fast becoming
one of my favorite authors!
