Review @KerrelynSparks - Eight Simple Rules for Dating a Dragon by Kerrelyn Sparks (The Embraced #3)

Eight Simple Rules for Dating a Dragon
The Embraced #3
by Kerrelyn Sparks

Goodreads blurb:  From the brilliant imagination of Kerrelyn Sparks comes a bold new fantasy romance series in which passion and magic collide. Behold the Embraced…

Gwennore has a talent. An Elf able to track down the cause of an illness and heal it, she’s a valuable asset to her people. But when the kidnapping of a young girl thrusts Gwennore into the very heart of the realm of the dragons, she discovers not only a place of power and magic, but also a haunted land, plagued by an ancient curse that all but ensures extinction to the royal family. But when she meets the smoldering General Silas Dravenko, they strike a bargain—save the country from its cursed illness, and he will return the kidnapped girl. She’s been raised never to trust a dragon, but never did making a deal with the devil feel so good…

Silas has no way of curing the family he’s loyally served for years. But when a beautiful elf, long considered the enemy of the dragons, comes bursting into his world, Silas is awakened to passion and desire in a way he’s never felt before. But can he trust a sworn enemy to save the very existence he holds dear? And can their love survive those that threaten to tear them apart?

About the Author:  Kerrelyn Sparks apparently has issues with reality. After writing more than a dozen books about vampires, she has now completely gone off the deep end and wound up on another planet. But how thrilling that she can share this magical new world with her readers! Although she is best known (so far) for the Love at Stake series, which has hit as high as number 5 on the New York Times list and 22 on the USA Today list, she hopes her readers will love The Embraced as much as they did her merry band of vamps and shifters. To learn more about her paranormal, historical, and upcoming out-of-this-world fantasy romances, please visit Kerrelyn on Facebook, Twitter, or her website.

Kerrelyn loves hearing from readers, even those who howl at the moon. Letters may be sent to P.O. Box 5512, Katy, TX 77491-5512. If you would like bookmarks and signed bookplates, please mail a Self-Addressed Stamped Envelope to her P.O. Box, and she will send those items to you.

My Thoughts - 5 out of 5 Unicorns - I loved it!!!

***I choose what I read and review based on what intrigues me!!  Yes, I got a review copy of this book, but no one tells me what to think, feel, or write about any book!  I’m getting the paperback because sometimes it is more cost effective to get paperback!!!

The cover is steamy!  I love it!

This is the 3rd book in this series, and it is for adults only due to violence and steamy content.  I highly recommend reading each book in order because it is so much better when you know all the characters and how close they are.

I devoured this book, and I couldn’t put it down!  I really love this series!  It has it all magic, special powers, shifters, fae, twin moons, and so much more!  I love the sisters, and this is Gwennore’s story.  So much going on in this book and Gwennore and her gifts are out to help.  My heart goes out to Gwen and how cruel people can be based on her race.  All your favorite people are in the story especially Brody because he is always there when you need him.  Now I have a couple others to add Dmitri and Aleski because they rock too!  Silas though is the best because he is always there to rescue Gwen whether it is from attack or cruel words.  I loved this exciting read!  So much going on that you are pulled into the story, and I loved every second!  I haven’t read a book by Kerrelyn Sparks that I haven’t loved!  Her books are full of life, mystery, twists and turns, and most importantly love!  This world is amazing, and I can’t wait to be immersed in it again!

I highly recommend to any paranormal fans who love complex worlds filled with paranormal beings and magic!  I can’t wait to read more of this world!
