Review @valeromance - Wild Things by Catherine Vale

Wild Things
BBW Paranormal Shifter Romance
by Catherine Vale

Goodreads blurb:  Senna, the curvy Princess, and fierce protector of her kingdom, refuses to be given away in marriage to the Ottway, an evil bastard of a man, who just so happens to be aligned with her father. Marriage arranged, Senna is torn between what she must do for her kingdom, and what her heart truly wants.

Gabriel isn't just Senna's guard, but a powerful wolf-shifter, who just so happens to want her as his own. It would be treason to go against the wishes of the King, but what these old men don't seem to know, is that when it comes to love, rules are meant to be broken.

Will Gabriel be successful in his attempt to rescue Senna from danger? And if they make a run for it, will they be able to survive in a world of aliens and shifters, who will stop at nothing to destroy them, should they rebel?

Note To Readers: This is a quirky, fun story set in a modern world with a steam-punk feel, mixed with everything you want in a paranormal shifter romance. Gabriel is a wolf-shifter, and Senna is the curvy lady that he's willing to do anything for, including give up his life, if he must. This story, along with all of my other stories, will end in a HEA, but the journey to get there will be nothing short of wild. Hold on tight!

About the Author:  Catherine Vale has been writing fiction for as long as she can remember, but it wasn’t until she wrote her very first paranormal romance story that she found herself hooked on the raw, edgy love affair of shifters, vampires and other dominant alpha males and the captivating women that love them.

Catherine Vale writes both contemporary and paranormal romance for readers who are willing to take a walk on the wild side of love.  Her stories always include powerful alpha males, smart and sassy heroines and a happily-ever-after (even if she often put her characters through hell to get there!)

My Thoughts - 4 out of 5 Unicorns - I really liked  it!!!

***Received a copy of the book for an honest review

The cover is definitely beautiful, but it should have been a black wolf!!

This is a standalone book that is for adults only due to the steamy content and violence.  It is a quick read and ends in a HEA.

I definitely think this is a unique and interesting world.  I definitely wanted to know more about the past especially Gabriel’s and his village, but also what happened after this book.  I really loved Senna and her fiery spirit and that she wanted to protect as much as be protected.

Catherine always amazing and unique stories.  If you love her work, you don’t want to miss this one!  I recommend this book to HEA lovers and shifter lovers!
