Review @valeromance - Dark Side of the Moon by Catherine Vale **Releases September 5th!!!!

New Release Sept 5th

Dark Side of the Moon
BBW Paranormal Were-Bear Shifter Sci-Fi Romance
by Catherine Vale

Goodreads blurb:  Veronica Maxwell has never fit in. Not into the cliques in high school, not even in her own family. Her mother was only concerned about her daughter gaining weight, and her father wasn't much better. So, she turned to martial arts as a way of venting out that anger, and that's how she ended up in the ring, fighting her ass off, fired up and ready to compete.

Mikel Taso is used to fighting. He lives in a world of constant war; clans fighting clans and shifters fighting shifters. But when his clan is threatened by extinction, he knows he has no other choice but to abandon his planet for a thriving one: earth. And that's how he came face to face with our kick-ass heroine, and the one woman he believes is his one true mate.

When these two fighters' cross paths, it sets in motion a series of events that will not only test their will to survive against all odds, but to survive each other. And Veronica isn't going down without a fight.

Readers: This is a sexy were-bear paranormal shifter romance, featuring a curvy BBW heroine, alien sci-fi action and one dominant alpha who knows how to make a woman scream his name. Snag your copy and talk a walk on the wild side of love!

About the Author:  Catherine Vale has been writing fiction for as long as she can remember, but it wasn’t until she wrote her very first paranormal romance story that she found herself hooked on the raw, edgy love affair of shifters, vampires and other dominant alpha males and the captivating women that love them.

Catherine Vale writes both contemporary and paranormal romance for readers who are willing to take a walk on the wild side of love.  Her stories always include powerful alpha males, smart and sassy heroines and a happily-ever-after (even if she often put her characters through hell to get there!)

My Thoughts - 5 out of 5 Unicorns - I loved it!!!

***Received a copy of the book for an honest review and I have already ordered my copy

The cover is a work of art!  I really like it though it would have been cooler to see his bear :)

This is a standalone book.  It is for adults only due to the steamy content.  I’m hoping that there will be more about Veronica (Max) and Taso in the future.  Max is definitely a spirited and feisty girl.  I loved her from her first punch!  I wasn’t sure what to think of Taso in the beginning.  He doesn’t abandon his planet though as the blurb suggests; he just looks to Earth for solutions.  I kind of thought he was sort of a jerk in the beginning, but he definitely grew on me as Max accepted him and her new life.

I always know I will love the adventure that Catherine Vale takes me on!  They are always unique, and she amazes me with her creativity every time.  I can’t wait to see what she comes up with in her next shifter book, but I do hope I see more of this world in the future.

I highly recommend this unique sci-fi shifter book to all of the shifter readers out there especially if you already love Catherine’s work!
