Blurb:  Fourth Book of the Serial Featuring an ex-SEAL Panther Shifter and a Curvy, Determined Heroine

All panther shifter Chay Bane had wanted was to save Tara Morland from the beast that threatened to take over her mind and body. But the deal that he was forced to take had catastrophic consequences, locking Chay and Tara in another plane while the Earth is threatened with invasion by an ancient and relentless enemy.

Can he cross space and time to save not only Tara but the world itself?

About the Author:  I'm currently working exclusively in the Aethereal Bonds world, which I've mapped out to be big enough to let me tell all the different kinds of stories I want to share with readers. It's got vampires, demons, weres, faes and more--all sorts of creatures that are great fun to play with.
I live near Washington, D.C., with my family. A proud geek, I love fantasy, romance, science fiction, and historical fiction.  I’m a compulsive dreamer, and I feel spoiled to be able to make a career out of imagining things!

My Thoughts - 3 out of 5 Unicorns - I liked it!!!

The cover is a mixed bag for me this time.  Chay is looking very fine, but his panther doesn’t look as strong.  Not my favorite picture, but that’s just my opinion ;)

Important things you might want to know :)  This is a serial novella series, and it is NOT completely published at this time.  This is the fourth part of this story.  If you don’t know a serial is like a TV show episode, while you may have small closure over whatever the main focus of that part, it is not a complete book and usually has some type of cliffhanger.  Serials are not for everyone, and you must read each part in order to know what is going on.

I really like this world that V.M. has created with her shifters; however, this part is not my favorite.  I felt disconnected and lost in this one.  The more I learned about the elves the more confused I became.  I’m hoping it will make more sense as the serial goes, but I’m not sure at this point.  I did love that you got to see Annie in action in this part.  I will definitely continue this series because I have to know what happens, and I will read anything V.M. puts out about this world because I really have thoroughly enjoyed her books.  There is a major cliffy at the end of this part, and the next part isn’t published yet!!  I have to wait….Uggg!

I recommend this serial to V.M. Black fans and shifter lovers who want to read about a unique shifter world :)
