My Thoughts - 4 out of 5 Unicorns - I really liked it!!!

***Received a copy of the ebook for an honest review, but I already owned this one :)

The cover is very steamy with a Alessandra sandwich, but it also has Venice and the moon in the background.  I like it :)

Okay things you need to know, this is a serial with five parts.  This means that they are pieces to the whole, and you shouldn’t expect a whole story.  It is like a TV series, so while there is some closure with each episode expect yourself to be screaming at where the part you read ends.  Something else important, this serial is not complete at this time.  Only the first two parts are currently out, but I believe everything will be published by March.  The good news is Part One is free :)  This is also for adults only because there is a very steamy scene not meant for kids.

Now onto the story, WOW not what I expected at all!  This book surprised me big time!!  When I started reading, you got Alessandra’s background and the buildup of the setting.  Mind you these are the parts while necessary, I usually find kind of boring.  Then she gets to Italy and BAM, the story takes off and leaves me in the dust thinking what just happened.  I got sucked into the story, and there was so much going on that I can’t tell you because it would ruin it for you.  I definitely have some questions rolling around my head that I want answered about some characters.  This is not one of those stories where everyone lives happily ever after, so be forewarned.

Okay when I looked up the author bio, I realize this is written by two writers writing as one.  Wow, I couldn’t tell any difference in reading that it is being done by two authors.  They are writing together pretty seamlessly.  I loved the details in the writing, and how easily they pulled me in.

I recommend this book to readers who like serials that are hmmm…I guess the best description is paranormal mysteries who don’t mind not being able to see everything coming or what is happening….very intriguing :)  I can’t wait to read the next one :)
