Cross Breed
Breeds #23
by Lora Leigh
Goodreads blurb: The Breeds are humans altered before
conception with the DNA of the predators of Earth. But although they all carry
the genetic material of beasts within them, Cassandra Sinclair stands apart. A
unique mix of wolf, coyote and human, she is revered by many—but preyed upon by
others. She is fiercely protected by her community…but no one manages to stop
her when she slips away one day to offer her body in exchange for her sister’s
safety.
The man she succumbs to surprises her by unleashing her inner animal in ways she never dreamed possible—and provokes her deep, furious rage. To Cassie’s shock, he is the mate she has long awaited. She may never be able to forgive his deception. Still, as dangerous enemies track her, and as the threat of all-out war between Breeds and the humans who despise them hovers in the air, they must join forces and hold fast to each other.
But the passionate union between them holds a potential that could change the world—and some will do anything to stop it…

About the Author: Lora Leigh dreams in bright, vivid images of
the characters’ intent on taking over her writing life, and fights a constant
battle to put them on the hard drive of her computer before they can disappear
as fast as they appeared.
Lora’s
family and her writing life coexist, if not in harmony, in relative peace with
each other. Surrounded by a menagerie of pets, friends, and a son who keeps her
quick wit engaged, Lora finds her life filled with joys, aided by her fans
whose hearts remind her daily why she writes.

My Thoughts - 5 out of
5 Unicorns - I loved it!!!
***I choose what I read and review
based on what intrigues me!! Yes, I got a review copy of this
book, but no one tells me what to think, feel, or write about any book! I own most of the Breed books in paperback! I will own this one too!
The
cover is another awesome one! Love
Cassie!!
This
is the 23rd book in the Breed series. This series is for adults only due to the
steamy content. I have long loved and
read this series. I will eventually need
to go back and re-read them to write reviews because I read them before I
realize I should write reviews. Lora
Leigh is one of the reasons I fell in love with shifter books. I love reading her books, and my mom and
grandma also read her books. We all have
collections of her books.
This
story is Cassie Sinclair’s story. She
has been a fixed in most books because she knows things others don’t. We have watched her grow up in their books,
and now she has been claimed by her mate.
So much awesomeness about this book!
We learned so many things, and these are things that you will not learn
from me because I won’t spoil the adventure for someone else. You definitely want to read it though because
you learn so many things that you may have wondered about, and so many other
things that I didn’t see coming! Cassie gets even more interesting!! Loved it!!!
Lora
Leigh weaves an amazing story that had me from page 1! I can’t wait to see what happens next to my
favorite characters in one of my favorite worlds!
I
highly recommend to any fan of the Breeds because once you are hooked you just
can’t stop, and if you haven’t read this series and you love shifters, you will
want to read them all!
Interested in reading???

a Sleeping Tiger!!
