Secrets
by T.M. Payne

Goodreads blurb:  Four young friends, four fated mates.
One secret that could separate them forever.
Battling the demons of society and acceptance, can one of them handle the secrets that have been kept?
Or will it be too much to bear?
Some things are better left unsaid...

Teen - young adult short story.
No sex, some naughty language.

About the Author:  T.M. Payne is a mom to grown children, and she has six beautiful grandchildren whom she adores.
She was born in Alexandria, Virginia and has never lived too far from the area.

She has always enjoyed reading from an early age and began her journey into book blogging four years ago, and has never looked back. Reading is her relaxation, and she loves helping others find a good book. Lending a hand with promotions is just another bonus, and she is always happy to help authors.

She never aspired to be an author herself but felt strongly enough on certain things in life that she decided to write a short story featuring her love of paranormal, along with a great issue facing our world. She truly believes every single breathing person should be able to live their life with whom they want, how they want, and not be bullied because of their choices in life.

My Thoughts - 5 out of 5 Unicorns - I loved it!!!

***I choose what I read and review based on what intrigues me!!  I bought my friend’s book to read, but no one tells me what to think, feel, or write about any book!

The cover is beautiful and compelling all at once.

This is a short story about 24 pages.  It is a YA book with 4 friends who just graduated high school, and they are magical.  This story is an emotionally packed rollercoaster.  It is a truly fantastic and beautiful written story.  It is true to life because sometimes friends or family can be clueless about things happening around them.  Sometimes words accidentally hurt friends and family, but worse is when it is on purpose.  I’ve seen families in chaos because of judgement.  Love boundlessly and without judgement.  You should read this story because it will move you!  I cried…a lot!!!

I highly recommend this short story to remind you what love should look like and be without judgement!  I can’t wait to see what T.M. Payne shows us next!
