Review @VivianKWood - Prowl by Vivian Wood (Winter Pass Wolves #3)

Prowl
Winter Pass Wolves #3
by Vivian Wood

Goodreads blurb:  When Avery Burke picks up her phone in the middle of the night, Chase Harbin is the last person in the world she expects. He’s a werewolf, the very thing she was raised to hate and fear. The second she discovered his secret, Avery cut him from her life, managing to ignore the fact that he made her heart pound and flutter.

Chase knows he’s risking his life, calling Avery. The beautiful blonde is a Hunter, and she’s probably gunning for him… A woman scorned, and all that. Still, when his baby sister Brooke is kidnapped, he has no choice. He reaches out to Avery and quickly finds that she’s not quite as distant as she once seemed…

Heading into mortal peril, Avery and Chase allow themselves one last night of passion. The heat of their joining consumes them both, spiraling out of control, and soon they’re fighting more more than just their lives...

About the Author:  Vivian is an erotic romance writer, and the author of the Red Lodge Bears series, the Werewolf's Harem Series, and the the Louisiana Shifters Series.

Vivian was born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia. Vivian attended a fantastic women's college, at which time she studied creative writing. She now lives in New Orleans.

Vivian has been an autodidact from a young age, and to this day she'll read anything she can get her hands on - back of the cereal box, billboards, whatever. When she's not reading or writing romantic stories, Vivian likes making drinks from her Trader Vic's cocktail recipe book, snuggling her badly behaved dog, and going on daytime adventures in and around New Orleans.

Vivian really enjoys her work, and is always excited to see what's in store next for her beloved characters.

My Thoughts - 4 out of 5 Unicorns - I really liked it!!!

***Received a copy of the ebook for an honest review

This is the 3rd part in the novella series, and even though I haven’t been told it is a serial series, you should treat it like it is because you need to read each part in order to understand the big picture.  This is for adults only due to the steamy scenes and violence.

I really enjoyed this whole series, but I wish they were longer.  They could have easily been novels instead of novellas.  The story was action packed and lots going on.  This was Chase and Avery’s story.  The ending could have been better because I wanted the details that were left out.  I’m hoping we will see more of this world and get new details, but I have no idea if we will.

I recommend this series to those partial to wolf shifters especially if you are already a fan of Vivian Wood :)  It is a unique world that I would like to see more of and learn more about.
