Review @AmelieHunt - Snowfall by Maeve Morrick (Arctic Station Bears #3)

Arctic Station Bears #3
by Maeve Morrick

Goodreads blurb:  Gun in hand, trembling as the Arctic wind howls around her, Alanna MacCready watches helplessly as her fated mate, sexy polar bear Alpha Liam Roy, is captured by their enemy. She knows it’s a trap, but a choice between doing nothing and saving the man she loves is no choice at all. Some things are worth any risk, at any cost.

At least she won’t be alone. She’ll have a few shifter friends and wildcard Alex Parker along for the ride. She doesn’t trust Parker, but who could trust someone sent by a faceless corporation to kill them?

Secrets from Alanna’s past will finally come to light as she gathers strength for the final battle. How far will she go for love? Will there be anything left of the woman she was when the dust settles?

About the Author:  Maeve draws from the fantasies of friends (extracted with wine, of course) when crafting her torrid tales. Nothing pleases her more than to know that someone enjoyed a story as much as she enjoyed writing it!

When not tickling her keyboard, she's probably trying to dislodge her cat from it so she can write, or bribing her dog to not eat her cat with varying degrees of success.

She's also fond of blues music, people-watching, aesthetics, video games, cooking, art, movies, and travel. Also, were dirty stories mentioned? She likes those, too.

Last thing, and probably the most important: she can make a cup of hot chocolate that will knock your socks off.

My Thoughts - 5 out of 5 Unicorns - I loved it!!!

***Received a copy of the ebook for an honest review but I have since picked up my own copy!

The cover is awesome with both beasts on it!  These are always my favorite kind!

This the 3rd part of Alanna’s story, and it is for adults only due to the violence and steamy content.  Even though, it is not listed as a serial, I would treat it like it is.  Reading the parts in order is mandatory to get the full effect of the story and characters.

Alanna is an awesome female lead!  She doesn’t wait in the wings like a damsel in distress waiting to be rescued.  She does the rescuing that makes her one of my favorites.  Alanna also has an awesome sense of humor!  Liam is fierce and protective.

I really hope we will have more of this world and follow ups on Alanna and maybe even stories for Ben, Donny, and Viktor!  I want to know more!!

I highly recommend this series (read in order) to all my bear lovin’ friends!
