About the Author: I'm currently working exclusively in
the Aethereal Bonds world, which I've mapped out to be big enough to let me
tell all the different kinds of stories I want to share with readers. It's got
vampires, demons, weres, faes and more--all sorts of creatures that are great
fun to play with.
I
live near Washington, D.C., with my family. A proud geek, I love fantasy,
romance, science fiction, and historical fiction. I’m a compulsive dreamer, and I feel spoiled
to be able to make a career out of imagining things!

The
cover is sexy and beautiful and definitely attracts my eye. Both man and cat are amazing :)
Okay
my usual statements first, this is a serial series, and it is not complete
yet. It is a novella length somewhere
about 90 pages long. If you do not know what a serial is, it is like a TV show
where this is just one episode or part to the whole. I used to shy away from them, but I have
found a few authors that I really like.
As in all things in life, some do serials well and others not so
much. This is my first experience with
V.M. Black’s work, and I really liked it.
She has a perfect mix of mystery, intrigue, steamy scenes, and this new
world that I really like. Her writing style
is easy to connect with, and you can visualize everything which makes the
experience awesome.
Tara
is a trooper, and she has no idea what is going on. You can sense her panic and relate to her
easily. I’m not sure on what of think of
Chay, but I do like him, and he is very sexy.
This world is definitely unique, and I can’t wait to see what happens
next….even though I hate waiting.
Patience is a virtue, right? o_O
I
recommend this to my cat lover shifter friends, but they do have bear and fox
friends too ;) If you do not like
reading incomplete serials, you may want to wait, but I couldn’t do it….wait
that is :)
